Ball Down a Ramp Activity
This lab is meant to serve as an introduction to accelerated motion. Students are given a ball, ramp, and data collection materials, and collection position-time data. Students then plug this data into the companion Excel document, which is programmed to automatically plot position-time and velocity-time graphs. Students then answer the analysis questions on their companion Word Document. If students do not have their own devices, the teacher can use their copy to plug in student data and project for the class. [1]
