Trip Functions (CK-12 Remix)

This is a modification of the activity 8.10 Trip Functions which can be found on CK-12.

In the activity shared on CK-12 students are given a simple real world situation and are asked to complete a table and write an equation in the form of y = mx + b. I have taken the situations given in CK-12 and developed a short Desmos that allows the students to complete these steps digitally. I have also added a slide where the students can develop their own situation in the likeness of the ones they complete during the activity.

This is a great task for students who have a basic understanding of slope and y-intercept and need practice defining those values and building an equation. The problems are simple and similar to each other so that students should be able to follow the same procedure to complete each one.
