Introduction to Congruent Triangle Stations

This is lab serves to introduce the congruent triangle theorems (SSS, SAS, ASA, HL, and AAS). There are 7 stations one for each theorem plus 2 more for ASS and AAA. Students pair up and make triangles to see if their triangles are congruent. They are also told to try to make their triangles noncongruent. The then complete a conditional statement about each theorem.

You will need to make manipulatives for each station. Triangle sides can be made from craft sticks or coffee stirrers. The angles can be made from card stock, but I recommend using foamboard so you can use them over again. Be sure to mark the side lengths and the angles as below.
