Digital Communication - CS/CT Elementary Hyperdoc

Overview

Through Computer Science and Computational Thinking, students will develop ways to communicate with their friends and family while being quarantined. Beginning with a student-relevant scenario, students will use the 7 components of Computational Thinking (Ignite my Future) to find solutions to a problem that they may be encountering. They are able to learn more about the problem through developmentally appropriate content and research. Finally, students are able to use some of the solutions they have come up with to create a real world solution through STEAM acitivies. Each hyperdoc also includes a digital block-based coding activity to increase students interest and understanding of coding.
