Plant Life Cycle (with Scratch)

Plant Life Cycle (with Scratch)

Overview

Students will create the life cycle of a plant using Scratch.  Students must create Sprites that are parts of a plant in its various life cycle stages.  Students must code the plant to grow.  Students must use the ‘Text’ feature to label and explain their plant life cycle.

This lesson is part of the Virginia K-12 Computer Science Pipeline which is partly funded through a GO Virginia grant in partnership with Chesapeake Public Schools, Loudoun County Public Schools, and the Loudoun Education Foundation.
