Group Description

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education provides students the opportunity to apply their understanding of science, mathematics, and computer science concepts to real-world problems. As they engage in the engineering design process to solve these problems, they either use technology or develop technological tools as products.

The engineering process is an iterative process that allows students to engage in higher-level thinking, apply discipline-specific content and practices, develop the 5 Cs (collaboration, communication, citizenship, and critical and creative thinking), and engage in cross-curricular learning.
