Interpretive Reading

This link (←click here) provides several simple infographics about various fruits and vegetables in Spanish. 

Interpretive Activity:

The infographics could be used as stations hung up around the room for students in Spanish level 1 or 2 to complete an interpretive graphic organizer (see below).

Interpersonal Activity:

Students could choose their favorite fruit or vegetable infographic from a printed stack, complete the first line of the graphic organizer, and then engage in an interpersonal activity with their classmates in which they would have to ask for the information pertaining to their fruit or vegetable infographic, then make comparisons after they've spoken to multiple students (see below).  Students would use the following questions that could be projected on a screen at the front of the classroom:

  • ¿Cuál es tu fruta/verdura? 
  • ¿Cuál es su color?
  • ¿Cuáles son las palabras claves?
  • ¿Cuál es tu beneficio favorito?
