Better Buy (CK-12 Remix)

This activity is modified from 7.16 Smart Shopping and 7.17 Smart Shopping Extra from CK-12. 


In this activity, students find the unit rates of various objects from two different stores and then compare the unit rates to determine which store has the better deal. I have combined 7.16 and 7.17 listed above into one Desmos activity that can be teacher or student paced. Students will do the work and enter their answer and the justification for their answer. This is an application activity and should be done with students after they have learned how to find unit rates.
