Cross curricular lesson plan integrating Computer Science and Science Standards CS 8.8  Science PS.1 c-e, PS. 5 a-b 

This lesson is part of the Virginia K-12 Computer Science Pipeline which is partly funded through a GO Virginia grant in partnership with Chesapeake Public Schools, Loudoun County Public Schools, and the Loudoun Education Foundation.  In this lesson, students will create examples of gravitational potential and kinetic energy transformations using Scratch.  

Students will investigate potential and kinetic energy, and observe that energy is continually transferred from one object to another between various forms.This module was developed by Christina Owens as part of a Virginia Commonwealth University STEM initative sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education.
