Use this cross-curricular (Mathematics and Art) and inquiry-based online lesson concept either wholly in the classroom, or to support a museum visit.    

It can be adapted to serve as informal formative assessment or a culminating activity to demonstrate student understanding. 

Structure

  • Challenge for students to identify a mathematical concept they can use as inspiration for their own Conceptual Artwork modeled with Tinkercad. 
  • Short bibliography of resources for further exploration of Sol LeWitt and his art.
