G.2 Types of Angles formed by parallel lines and a transversal

Lesson:

Students need 4 different colors (colored pencils, markers, crayons, etc),  Print out this booklet 2-sided.  Students fold the paper in half so that vertical, complementary, supplementary, adjacent, and linear pair are on the front page.  Open the booklet to find same-side interior, same-side exterior, alternate interior, alternate exterior, and corresponding angles.  Discuss each vocabulary term and determine if the angles are supplementary or congruent.  Students should color each set of angles with matching colors to help visual and identify each type of angles.  

Individual Practice:

Once students have learned the types of angles formed by parallel lines and a transversal, have them complete this True/False sort activity.
