3D Figure Project
For this project, students create a station for other students. They are assigned a 3D figure (cylinder, cone, prisms, pyramids, sphere, etc). They must create a station that teaches the parts of the figure and how to find the surface area, lateral area, and volume of the figure. They must create:
· A 3-D model of the figure with all parts label
· A netting of the figure with all parts labeled
· A video of explaining what the figure is, what the parts are, and how to find the volume and area(s) with have plenty of examples (at least 6).
· A set of notes for the student to fill out while watching the video with a key
· A worksheet of 10 questions for the student to do with a key
· 2 quiz questions with a key
Then students visit each station created and have a quiz on all the stations.
