Exploring quadrilaterals Mathematics Instructional Plans (MIPs) help teachers align instruction with the Mathematics Standards of Learning (SOL) by providing examples of how the knowledge, skills and processes found in the SOL and curriculum framework can be presented to students in the classroom.

Students are given 6 statements and they are to determine if each statement is always, true, sometimes true, or never true.

This activity includes a graphic organize task from the OER commons, a Desmos game, and use of DeltaMath activity. These resources will help students develop an understanding of the properties of quadrilaterals. Students will practice the vocabulary and the similarities/differences between quadrilaterals.
