In this inquiry lab activity, students use technology including a free virtual oscilloscope to determine the links between the wave characteristics of sound waves and how people perceive sound. They will discover the connection between amplitude and volume of a wave, and the connection between the frequency of a wave and the pitch that people here.

This is a google slides mini lesson on volume of a cylinder.  The first slide consists of a definition of volume of a cylinder, what unit volume is measures in and the formula for volume.  Students will discuss the difference between the volume and surface area.  Surface area covers the outside of the cylinder and the volume fills up the inside.  Students will use the formula to solve problems on the slides.  Then, they will make a text box and type their answers to complete the slides.
