Students will sort and graph attributes of the Lakota, Powhatan, and Pueblo tribe. They will then rotate through groups and make models of items.

A collection of resources for lesson planning and learning more about Native Americans, past and present. This resource was created through a partnership between CodeVA and the Virginia Tribal Education Consortium (VTEC). 

Students will be split into groups to create materials and items that belong to their assigned Native American tribe. While in groups they will collaborate with one another in each of them making an item that belongs to their assigned tribe. The teacher will be able to access the groups understand of their tribe based on their groups representation of their assigned tribe. 

Students will create a Scratch project for a Native American tribe or tribes and include shelter, environment, transportation, and food.

In this lesson, students will collaborate in groups to electronically communicate their findings from the Jamestown Outreach. Through this activity, they will explore how technology has evolved and improved over time for information dissemination, encouraging them to compare and contrast different communication methods throughout history.
