A Presentational Group Writing in which level 3 students work individually, in pairs or groups to create a digital advertisement for a product of their choice using formal commands and impersonal subjunctive expressions
Students will use their five senses to describe the three different types of apples using the words from the word bank. Afterwards students will conduct a short survey to find out which apple was liked by most students. The results will be shown by drawing a pictograph.
Students practice argumentative writing by building a house to show a strong thesis, reasons, and examples.
This lesson includes a ppt. slideshow which includes definitions, examples, and 6 practice problems to check students’ understanding. Students will learn the acronym PIE to remember the three reasons--Persuade, Inform and Entertain.
Students choose a character, then answer questions to reveal which was chosen. Practices description in Spanish. Sample game
This lesson is based on a book from Reader's Theater. The book selected for this lesson is called Using My Body. The teacher will introduce the book, and go over the picture vocabulary, and the sight words in the book. The students will participate in repeated readings to build fluency and increase their concept vocabulary. They will be assessed on fluency when they perform in front of the class and for comprehension when they do their cloze activity.
Students will deconstruct ideas, claims, or concepts presented to them, build understanding of those ideas, and show their understanding.

This is a list of common use "ER" verbs. There is an activity, and a quizlet set both have answers. You can use them after you teach ER verbs or Stem change verbs.
This lesson teaches the difference between common and proper nouns. Use the attached PPT “Nouns Proper or Common” to go over the difference between a common and proper noun. After teaching the lesson with the ppt. hand them the sorting worksheet to work independently or with a partner.
