In this activity, students will learn to identify the 7 continents by name and location through song activity blending active learning.  Students will learn facts pertaining to each continent and practice syllable breaking strategies. 

Students will explore the continents and oceans by using playdough maps, felt  maps, and coloring to help them locate and remember their locations.

This activity will get your students out of their seats! They will be actively engaged with their classmates to solve the puzzle as well as navigate the sphero mini robot around on the rug! This lesson will have everyone singing about the continents way after the unit is complete!

Students will review the continents, oceans, and Cardinal directions by traveling across the world using BeeBots (i.e., robots) or grid paper. Students will plan routes to get from one continent to another by making a step-by-step description.
