Communication has changed over time. The methods we use to connect with family and friends have moved from letter writing and postcards to social media posts and text messages. the way we acquire news has gotten faster and more widely available. News channels on television, news apps, and social media have allowed news to be shared instantly and to a broader audience.Our modern methods of communication have reached new heights. In an instant news is shared around the world. We are able to respond to emergenices faster, and share ideas with more people.Technology has opened up more outlets for communication.

Imagine if there were social media sites furing the time of Columbus, John Smith, or the Civil War.Students will use the Historical Social Media Profile template to create a profile and social media page for a historical figure. Students will use the spaces provided to draw a profile picture, write a biography, and social media posts for the person they have chosen.
