This lesson is designed to engage students in a meaningful and fun coding experience. Students will experience binary code as they write their name using 0s and 1s in the binary code alphabet.

Students will organize various stem items, make observations regarding those items such as their color, size, etc and then graph their observations.

This is a data collection, prediction, and graphing activity using three flavors of ice cream as the subject. It is a ready-made lesson with a Google Slideshow that has all of the activities built into it.

In this lesson, students will travel to different stations while participating in various graphing activities.  The students will also be creating a whole class survey in one of the stations, where they will be documenting their results and sharing with the whole class when the lesson is complete.

Using shapes to make animals, students will graph the colors used in their animals to practice collecting data and analyzing graphs. 

Children are always taught “not to play with their food” but in this sensory lesson, that’s exactly what we are going to do.  We are going to use our five senses to explore some healthy fruits. We are going to learn how to gather, use and analyze our data to answer questions.
